Birthday Bonanza!

One of my clients and long time friend has asked me to come up with 10 different birthday cards. Pictured here is one of them and it features one of my new favorite stamps sets from Stampin' Up!....Eat Cake. I really like the cake in this set! In this card, I stamped the cake in old olive and then again in bordering blue. I then cut out the blue cake pieces and stuck them on top of the old olive cake. I also used some decorative paper on the bottom of the card. I love how Stampin' Up!'s colors all coordinate together. I never have to worry if my decorative paper, card stock and ink will go together....they always do! In the top corner of the card, the small accent stamp has small white dots from the white gel pen. Little and Cute!!

Can I tell you that I think little gift cards are sooooooooo stinkin' cute? I made these for two birthday gifts I was giving....and I just loved how they turned out!! That little tag stamp just kills me....love it!! And I am also in love with combining different backgrounds...like I did here. All stamps are by stampin' up.....except the words happy birthday. A pack of little gift cards makes a great gift, and they are great to have on hand! They are also fun to make!
